Jose Canseco claims that he is hunted by nightmares about steroids

The former MLB player Jose Canseco has confirmed that he has nightmares about steroids. He has stated that he has begun to have nightmares from the time of writing his book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. The work reveled application of steroids by certain MLB players. The author has reported on his Twitter account that nightmares linked with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Moreover, he continues to have them till nowadays. He compares them with a demon who never sleeps.
The former professional baseball player has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. The former professional baseball player described in his book about usage of steroids by several MLB players quite openly. This work was tuned out to be a bestseller. ”The godfather of steroids in baseball” has identified names of the players who have used anabolic steroids. He stated that he had been pushed out of professional baseball because of his book.
Jose Canseco named such sportspeople, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, confirming that they had applied steroids. He also identified Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t claim that he had known about administration of steroids by these athletes directly.
The most famous name that has been reported by Jose Canseco in his work is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire that hit 70 homeruns. Jose Canseco reported that McGwire had taken Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning nobody was inclined to believe that these statements were true. Mark McGwire denied usage of steroids. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire admitted that he had administered steroids and HGH. He admitted that Jose Canseco had described the truth.
McGwire acknowledged that he had administered banned preparations and he had apologized about this aspect. He noticed that he was applying them during the 90s. Later McGwire has obtained possibility to play baseball professionally again. He was engaged as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
As for Jose Canseco, he dreams to obtain the 2nd chance and to come back to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have agreed to give the second chance. Jose Canseco hopes that this is his step in direction to the MLB.
