This famous actress told in an interview for “The Sunday Telegraph” that she had taken the steroid testosterone. It was her first time, when she made her administration of testosterone public. She is 73 years old. She noticed that she had begun to take testosterone at the age of 70. Her purpose was to induce her libido. The actress intended to improve her sex life.
It is necessary to mention that Jane Fonda was considered to be the sex symbol of 1960s. Lately she wrote a new book. It was entitled following: “Prime Time: Love, health, sex, fitness, friendship, spirit-making the most of all of your life”. You may understand that she writes what a person has to do in order to reach healthy life, healthy sex and to be satisfied the whole life. One of the chapters describes methods to induce sex drive in older people. She doesn’t make any referencies to steroids.
Jane Fonda said about unpleasant symptoms of the anabolic steroid testosterone in the interview for “The Sunday Telegraph”. She said that she had ceased applying the anabolic steroid testosterone because she had had acne due to this medicine . Nevertheless, Jane Fonda recommends taking the steroid testosterone to improve sex life.
As it is known, the anabolic steroid testosterone is an effective preparation for enhancement of sex drive. But side reactions of this drug can be quite serious. The Food and Drug Administration didn’t approve this medicine to induce sex drive in women. Several persons confirm that conservative attitudes to sexuality of women disturbed the FDA from approval of this drug for female sex drive.
