The UFC President Dana White tries to defend UFC efforts against application of performance-enhancing drugs. Dana White says that the UFC struggles seriously to push forbidden medicines out of sports. He claims that they do more than any other sport organization for this goal.
Unfortunately, affirmations of the UFC President are claimed only for public relations purposes. They are completely false. The UFC doesn’t do more than any other sport organization, fighting against administration of prohibited drugs.
White confirms that it is impossible to perform random drug testing in the UFC. He says that they have 375 sportspersons under contract. The UFC President notices that it is impossible to perform random tests because these athletes live everywhere; they travel around the world. The UFC President finds it unreal to travel in various countries, seeking these 375 individuals, in order to test them continually.
While The UFC President desires to convince others that it is impossible to perform random drug testing of 375 UFC guys, other sport organizations do it with their athletes. They perform random testing successfully.
It isn’t entirely clear what happens actually. Does Dana White desire to mislead public about application of performance-enhancing drugs by the UFC fighters? Or is he ignorant totally, when it comes to the Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency?
The Chief Executive Officer of the US Anti-Doping Agency believes that the UFC does everything in order to avoid following the rules of the WADA. They have own points of views and fight against the WADA Code. However the UFC affirms that they try to protect their sports from administration of controlled substances by the WADA laws, the reality shows that it is not true. The UFC laws are miserable in comparison with those of the WADA. Try to see it!
